A New Hero Scooter Spotted – 125cc Engine, NTorq Rival?

First spy images of a new Hero scooter have emerged on the web. The spotted test mule has black and white heavy camouflage covering most of its design details. Though, one can notice its LED headlamp as we have seen on the TVS NTorq. It has LED DRL, halogen turn indicators, an ‘X’ shaped LED taillamp and an external fuel filler cap. The higher variants of the scooter are likely to come with the 12-inch machine cut alloy wheels.

The new Hero scooter has a new instrument console with rectangular fully-digital LCD panel. The unit is likely to have features such as odometer, trip meters, fuel level indicator, clock and turn-by-turn navigation. The model will also have USB phone charging port and a switchable i3S button on the right switch gear.

New Hero Scooter Specs

While there is no official word on the upcoming scooter, it’s likely to be a 125cc model. We expect it to come with the 125cc engine boosted with Hero’s i3S technology. It has stop/start feature that enhance the vehicle’s fuel efficiency.

The spy images suggest that the new scooter from Hero will come with the conventional telescopic and twin shockers suspension units at the front and rear respectively. While the higher variants might come with front disc brake, the lower variants could be offered with front and rear drum brakes along with the steel wheels.
