BS6 TVS Motorcycles Will Start Launching In Coming Weeks

TVS Motor Company has confirmed that it will start rolling out the BS6-compliant models from early November, 2019 (i.e. in coming weeks). By the end this year, the company will upgrade its entire product lineup to BS6 and start delivering models into the market.

The information comes from K N Radhakrishnan, Director and Chief Executive Officer, TVS Motor Company. As of now, the company hasn’t yet revealed the product names and the expected price update of the BS6-compliant models. TVS might first upgrade its motorcycle lineup, followed by the scooter portfolio.

The BS6 TVS Apache RTR 160 4V might get a new LED headlamp inspired by the TVS Draken X21 concept that broke cover at the 2014 Auto Expo. The bike’s BS6-ready version might also get an updated instrument cluster displaying more features such as Bluetooth connectivity.

We have also seen spy pictures of the BS6 TVS Apache 200 confirming that the bike will receive new LED headlamp and LED DRLs, newly-designed wheels along with two new colour schemes.

The company recently launched the Bluetooth-enabled model of the TVS Apache RTR 200 4V at Rs 1.14 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
