The 16th edition of the Delhi Auto Expo is slated to begin on 13th January 2023. The mega automotive event will take place at India Expo Mart in Greater Noida. However, this time around several car manufacturers will skip the Auto Expo 2023 including Mahindra & Mahindra, Nissan, Renault, Volkswagen, Skoda and all luxury car makers (except Lexus). The confirmed list of participants includes Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai Motor, Tata Motors, Toyota Kirloskar Motor, Kia, MG Motor India and BYD. Here’re some key details of the upcoming Kia, MG and BYD models that might be showcased at the automotive event.
Kia Cars At Auto Expo 2023
Kia Motor’s range might include the Seltos facelift and the newly-launched EV6 electric crossover. The updated Kia Seltos comes with a larger tiger nose grille with full-projection LED headlamps, revised front and rear bumpers and newly-designed tailgate. The SUV comes with the ADAS (advanced driver assistance system) and the segment-first panoramic screen display – a 10.25-inch infotainment systema and a 10.25-inch instrument cluster. MG Cars At Auto Expo 2023
The British automaker will showcase two new electric cars including the Air EV and 4 EV. While the former is slated to go on sale early next year, the India launch of the latter is yet to be confirmed. The MG Air EV will be a 2-door electric car featuring a battery pack ranging between 20kWh – 25kWh. It will deliver a range of around 150km. MG Motor India will also display updated Hector and Hector Plus SUVs at the mega event. Both models will make their official debut on 5th January. The new MG Hector will come with slightly improved design and a new 14-inch touchscreen infotainment system with the Next-Gen i-Smart technology and wireless smartphone connectivity. BYD Cars At Auto Expo 2023
BYD (Built Your Dreams) will put up its new Atto 3 electric SUV on display at the Delhi Auto Expo. Its deliveries are slated to begin in January. Priced at Rs 33.99 lakh, the BYD Atto 3 will take directly on the MG ZS EV and Hyundai Kona EV. The electric SUV underpins the e 3.0 platform and comes with a 60kWh BYD Blade battery pack. It’s claimed to deliver an ARAI-certified range of 521km on a single charge. The Atto 3 can accelerate 0 to 100kmph in 7.3 seconds. More details here…
