German luxury car manufacturer, Audi has launched the launch of the new Audi RS 5 Sportback in the Indian market. Available at an introductory price of Rs 1.04 crore, the new RS 5 Sportback directly rivals the Mercedes-AMG C 63.
Audi RS 5 Sportback Specifications
The new RS 5 Sportback is powered by a 2.9-litre V6 TFSI engine that churns out a maximum power output of 450bhp and a peak torque of 600Nm. It is claimed to achieve 0 to 100kmph in just 3.9 seconds before hitting a top speed of 250kmph. Driver can choose between 2 RS modes through the steering wheel, which calibrates the power curve of the engine, shifting of the transmission and steering sensitivity.
The RS 5 Sportback features the Quattro permanent all-wheel drive, with selft-locking center differential, which optimises power delivery between the front and rear axles, and provides ideal traction. Audi RS 5 Sportback Exterior, Interior
The Sportback front is dominated by the new single-frame glossy black RS honeycomb grille, flanked by Matrix LED headlamps with dynamic turn indicators. It gets headlight washer system, panoramic glass sunroof, flared wheel arches, 19-inch 10-spoke alloy wheels, RS bumpers, rear LED combination lamps with dynamic turn signals, and the surface mounted spoiler.
The new Audi RS 5 Sportback is available in 8 exterior colour options – Nardo Gray, Turbo Blue, Tango Red, Mythos Black, Glacier White, Navarra Blue, Sonoma Green, and Daytona Grey. It also gets Sport LED door projection.
The Audi RS 5 Sportback gets dual-tone black and rock gray interior scheme with Alcantara/leather interiors along with aluminium inlays. It gets the 3-spoke multifunction plus leather steering wheel with paddle shifters, stainless steel for the pedals and footrest, and RS scuff plates, front sport seats, and adjustable lumbar support with massage function, and the driver’s seat with memory function. The SUV also gets 3-zone air-conditioning system, and ambient lighting system.
It is equipped with a 10.1-inch touchscreen with Audi’s MMI Navigation Plus and MMI Touch tech, a 12.3-inch virtual cockpit digital instrument console, a 180W Audio sound system, etc. For safety, the Sportback gets six airbags, hill-hold assist, rear parking camera, rear and front parking sensors, etc.
