The long-awaited Audi e-tron all-electric SUV has been launched in the Indian market at a starting price of Rs crore. The company has already started accepting bookings for the electric SUV online or at authorised dealership at a token amount of Rs 5 lakh.

The Audi e-tron is available in two bodystyles – standard e-tron SUV and the e-tron Sportback. The standard model is available in two variants – e-tron 50 and the e-tron 55 – priced at Rs 99.99 lakh and Rs 1.16 crore respectively. The sportback is offered in a single variant – the e-tron Sportback 55 priced at Rs 1.18 crore.
The Audi e-tron electric SUV comes equipped with Matrix LED headlamps, adaptive air suspension and a 4-zone climate control as standard. In terms of features, the SUV gets a large panoramic sunroof, ambient lighting, wireless charger, leather seats, electrically adjustable seats with memory function, Audi’s ‘virtual cockpit’ digital dials, 8 airbags and parking sensors at the front and rear. The SUV rides on 20-inch alloys.
The Audi e-tron is offered in 8 exterior colour options – Florest Silver, Catalunya Red, Galaxy Blue, Glacier White, Navarra Blue, Mythos Black, Siam Beige and Typhoon Grey. The e-tron Sportback has all the colours offered in the standard model. Adding to it, this variant also gets an additional Plasma Blue colour. The top-spec e-tron 55 comes with several optional features such as digital marix LED headlamps with follow me home animation prohections, an air quality package, 30 colour ambient lighting, a 705-watt, 16-speaker Bang and Olufsen Premium 3D sound system and a 360 degree camera. Audi also giving heads-up display, Audi’s virtual cockpit plus, adaptive windshield wipers, a flat-bottom steering wheel, etc as optional.
Specifications
The e-tron features two electric motors – one on front axle and other one on the rear axle. The e-tron 50 variant features a 71kW battery and offers a range of 264-379km. The powertrain offers 313bhp of power and 540Nm of torque. It is claimed to achieve 0-100kmph acceleration in just 6.8 seconds.
The Audi e-tron 55 and the e-tron Sportback 55 feature a larger 95kW battery, and offers 408bhp of power and 664Nm of torque. It is claimed to achieve 0-100kmph in just 5.7 secnds. The electric SUV is claimed to have a range of 359-484 km (WLTP combined). Power is transmitted to all 4 wheels via the e-quattro permanent all-wheel drive system. The electric SUV is offered with three charging options – an 11kW compact charger (standard), an additional wallbox AC charger and 50kW DC fast chargers.
The Audi e-tron is offered with a standard warranty of 2 years along with a high voltage battery warranty of 8 years/1.6 lakh kms. Customers can also opt for an extended warranty of 2+2 years or 2+3 years.
