Following the launch of the Q8 Limited Edition, the renowned German carmaker is expanding its Q5 SUV model lineup with a special edition. This Audi Q5 Limited Edition, based on the Technology trim, has been priced at Rs 69.72 lakh (ex-showroom, India). It comes in at approximately Rs 1.50 lakh more than its standard counterpart, which retails for Rs 68.22 lakh. The distinguishing features of this special edition include a sporty black treatment and a striking Mythos Black color scheme. Notably, the black Audi logo, blacked-out front grille, and roof rails set it apart from the regular Technology trim.
Inside the cabin, the Audi Q5 Limited Edition boasts distinctive Okapi Brown seat upholstery, door panels, and a front center armrest. Much like the standard Technology trim, this special edition offers a host of features, including a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, a premium 19-speaker B&O sound system, wireless phone charging, ambient lighting with 30 color options, three-zone automatic climate control, power front seats with a memory function, a panoramic sunroof, and a comprehensive safety package comprising 8 airbags, among other amenities.
Under the hood, there have been no changes. The Audi Q5 Limited Edition continues to be powered by the 2.0L turbo petrol engine, producing 265bhp and 370Nm of torque. The power is channeled through a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox. The SUV features Audi’s Quattro AWD (all-wheel drive) system, coupled with an adaptive suspension and Audi Drive Select offering six driving modes. It boasts a 0 to 100kmph acceleration time of 6.1 seconds and reaches a top speed of 240kmph.
In the Indian market, the Audi Q5 SUV competes with rivals such as the Mercedes-Benz GLC, BMW X3, Lexus NX, and Volvo XC60. The new special edition is available in limited numbers across the country, catering to enthusiasts looking for a distinctive and premium SUV experience.
