Future Mahindra Electric SUVs To Get 3D in-car Audio System

We are all aware of Mahindra & Mahindra’s ambitious plans to introduce multiple new electric SUVs in India over the next 2-3 years. The first model in this electrifying lineup will be the Mahindra XUV.e8, based on the innovative INGLO platform. Following this debut, we can expect to see the XUV.e9, BE 05, and BE 07 in the electric vehicle roster. In an exciting development, the latest media report reveals that the upcoming ‘BE’ Mahindra electric SUVs will be equipped with the premium Dolby Atmos Music’s 3D in-car audio system, providing an immersive audio experience.

Dolby Atmos Music, a cutting-edge surround sound technology, creates an auditory dome around the user by precisely placing each instrument and voice in distinct locations. This results in a three-dimensional audio experience, with sounds emanating from various angles and intensities.

This setup is more premium and includes roof-mounted speakers as well as speakers positioned lower in the cabin. Thanks to the collaboration between Harman and Dolby, these new EVs will offer directional audio warnings for autonomous driving assistance, reverse camera alerts, and navigation prompts.
