Audi Q4 SUV Confirmed For 2019

All-new Audi Q4 SUV-coupe will have its world debut in 2019.

The German car manufacturer, Audi has confirmed that its will introduce the all-new Q4 five-seater SUV globally in 2019. Based on the MQB platform, the new Audi SUV will take a fight against the Mercedes GLA, BMW X2 and Range Rover Evoque.

Design and styling of the Audi Q4 will be inspired from the Audi TT Offroad concept that broke cover in 2014 at the Beijing Automobile Exhibition. 2019 Audi Q4 India 

In terms of dimensions, the 2019 Audi Q4 will be longer (around 110mm) than the current generation Q3. The baby SUV will measure around 4,500mm in length. Styling cues such as Matrix LED headlights, prominent horizontal creases on the front, curved roofline and a liftback-style tailgate could be carried forward from the concept.

Interior of the new Audi SUV will have advanced connectivity and comfort equipment, which will be developed for the new-generation MQB-based models by Audi and Volkswagen. The list of features might include a 9.2-inch touchscreen navigation monitor, full-HD instrument displays, inductive smartphone charging and gesture control functions. Coming to the engine, the 2019 Audi Q4 will source its power from a new-generation 1.5-litre, four-cylinder petrol and diesel engines. The SUV will also be available with a updated version of 2.0-litre, four-cylinder petrol and diesel motors along with an all-new 2.5-litre, five-cylinder petrol unit. However, the 406bhp, 2.5L gasoline motor will be available only on the top-end RS Q4. The Q4 lineup will also be joined by a plug-in petrol-electric Q4 e-tron model that will be compliant to China’s green vehicle regulations.
