2023 Maruti Super Carry Launched With Powerful Engine

Maruti Suzuki has launched the upgraded Super Carry light commercial vehicle in the Indian market. The 2023 Maruti Super Carry is now powered by a 1.2-litre Advanced K-Series Dual Jet, Dual VVT engine.

The light commercial vehicle is available in 4 variants – Gasoline Deck, Gasoline Cab Chassis, CNG Deck and CNG Cab Chassis – priced between Rs 5.30 lakh and Rs 6.30 lakh.

The 2023 Maruti Suzuki Super Carry LCV is powered by a 4-cylinder engine that is capable of producing 80.7PS of power at 6,000rpm and a peak torque of 104.4Nm at 2900rpm. The new powertrain is paired to an upgraded five-speed manual gearbox that is claimed to “offer improved gradeability which enables customers to drive up steeper gradients than earlier”.

Maruti Suzuki has also introduced a new CNG Cab Chassis variant. The CNG variant also has a 5L emergency petrol tank, offering peace of mind to customers. This mini-truck is also available in CNG Deck, Gasoline Deck and Gasoline Cab Chassis variants. For safety & security, the LCV gets front disc brakes, reverse parking sensors, seat belt reminders and a new engine immobiliser system. The LCV also gets a larger steering wheel with lighter operation. The Maruti Suzuki Super Carry is sold exclusively through Maruti Suzuki’s 370+ commercial outlets spread across 270+ cities. 

In the CNG mode, the powertrain produces 71.6PS of power at 6,000rpm and 95Nm of torque at 2800rpm. The petrol version has a maximum payload capacity of 740kg, while the CNG version has a payload capacity of 625kg.
