New Hyundai Creta EV Latest Spy Images Reveal Different Design

The Korean automaker, Hyundai will launch the much-awaited Creta facelift in the Indian market in early next year. The company is also preparing the electric version of the Creta SUV, which will be positioned against the Maruti Suzuki eVX. The Hyundai Creta EV is expected to be revealed sometime in late 2024, and the launch is expected in 2025.

The Hyundai Creta EV has been spotted couple of times on the Indian roads. This time around, the electric SUV has been caught testing in South Korea. The latest spy images reveal design details of the new EV, which appears different from the upcoming Creta facelift.

Hyundai Creta EV Rear Spied

The Creta EV spotted in South Korea appears significantly different from the current Creta SUV. The SUV has a different front fascia with new design elements. Also visible is the fake exhaust outlet. The Creta facelift will come with a new parametric jewel front grille and a split headlamp design, which we have already seen on the Exter and the Venue. The electric vehicle is equipped with C-shaped LED daytime running lamps, which appears bigger than the ones offered on the Creta.

The electric SUV will come with a closed off front grille and revised headlamp setup. The side profile will look identical to the Creta facelift; however, it could get a differently styled alloy wheels. At the back, the Hyundai Creta EV is likely to receive slightly revised wraparound tail-lights and rear bumper.

The cabin of the Hyundai Creta EV is expected to be shared with the upcoming Creta facelift; however, the Korean automaker will make several EV-specific changes. The electric SUV will be offered with a full-digital instrument console. The previous spy images reveal that the gear lever is placed on the centre console, which we have already seen on the Ioniq 5 EV.

The Hyundai Creta electric is expected to feature a battery pack of around 50kWh and it should offer a range of over 500kms on a single charge. The electric SUV will rival the likes of the Mahindra XUV400, MG ZS EV and the upcoming Tata Curvv EV, Honda Elevate EV and the Maruti Suzuki eVX.
