6 Tata SUVs Ready For Launch – All Key Details

Tata Motors is determined to surpass Hyundai Motor India in sales and claim the title of India’s second-largest car manufacturer. To achieve this, the indigenous automaker has planned a series of new product launches across various segments, including electric vehicles (EVs). Additionally, Tata will introduce new trims, special editions, and facelifts of its existing models to enhance their sales performance. Over the next 3-4 months, Tata will roll out mid-life updates for four highly popular SUVs – Nexon, Nexon EV, Harrier, and Safari. Furthermore, the company’s second-highest selling model, the Punch, is set to receive CNG variants and electric iterations. Let’s delve into key details of the upcoming Tata SUVs.

Tata Punch CNG and EV

Tata Punch CNG

The Tata Punch CNG is poised to hit the roads next month, featuring a 1.2L, 3-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine equipped with Tata’s dual-cylinder CNG technology. The Punch CNG will offer a maximum power output of 72bhp and 102Nm of torque. Apart from the ‘i-CNG’ badge on the tailgate, the model will look identical to its ICE-powered counterpart. In contrast, the Tata Punch EV will undergo EV-specific changes inside and out. Expected to provide a range of approximately 300km on a single charge, the electric micro SUV could share its powertrain with the Tata Tiago EV. More details here…
