Honda Elevate SUV Test Drive, Price Announcement Details

Honda Cars India is placing a significant bet on the Elevate mid-size SUV, aiming to challenge the dominance of the Hyundai Creta and compete with other SUVs like the Kia Seltos, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Toyota Hyryder, Skoda Kushaq, and Volkswagen Taigun. The dealership dispatch for the new Honda Elevate is scheduled to begin in mid-August, and test drives will be available around the same time. The prices for the SUV will be revealed in the first week of September 2023, and bookings are already open with an initial amount of Rs 21,000.

The Honda Elevate mid-size SUV will be offered in four trims – SV, V, VX, and ZX, with the sunroof exclusively reserved for the top two variants. Similar to the City hybrid, the Elevate comes equipped with Honda Sensing – ADAS (Advanced Driving Assistance System) suite. This exclusive technology from Honda provides features such as a collision mitigation braking system, adaptive cruise control with low-speed follow, road departure mitigation system, lane-keep assist system, lead car departure notification system, auto high beam, and more. The SUV features a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system supporting Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, along with a 7-inch semi-digital instrument cluster.

Honda Elevate performance

Under the hood, the Honda Elevate is powered by a 1.5L naturally aspirated petrol engine, offered with both a 6-speed manual and a 7-speed CVT automatic gearbox. The gasoline unit delivers a peak power of 121bhp and a maximum torque of 145Nm. Notably, there will be no diesel engine or strong hybrid powertrain options for this model. However, Honda has plans to introduce the electric version of the Elevate in the next three years.

The new Honda SUV will be available in seven monotone color options, including Phoenix Orange Pearl, Radiant Red Metallic, Platinum White Pearl, Lunar Silver Metallic, Obsidian Blue Pearl, Golden Brown Metallic, and Meteoroid Gray Metallic. Additionally, the dual-tone color palette will include options like Radiant Red Metallic with Crystal Black Pearl Roof, Platinum White Pearl with Crystal Black Pearl Roof, and Phoenix Orange Pearl with Crystal Black Pearl Roof.
