The next month going to be super exciting for auto enthusiasts as several new cars/SUVs will make their global debut or hit Indian roads. Here’s a brief on the upcoming new models, which are scheduled to come in November 2021.

New-Gen Maruti Celerio

The new-generation Maruti Celerio is reported to launch on 10th November. The spy images reveal that the hatchback will undergo comprehensive design changes and feature upgrades. In fact, the 2021 Maruti Celerio will be more powerful and efficient than the existing model. It’s likely to come with the new 1.0L K10C, 3-cylinder Dualjet petrol engine that will offer mileage around 26kmpl. The hatchback will also ditch its existing platform for the lightweight and more rigid Heartect architecture.

New Audi Q5

2021 Audi Q5 Launch Price

While its official launch date is yet to be announced, the new 2021 Audi Q5 facelift is reported to launch in November 2021. It will be the first major update for the SUV’s second-generation model. Here, the SUV will be offered with the 2.0L petrol engine that’s good enough for 245bhp and 370Nm. Power will be transmitted to all four wheels via a 7-speed DCT automatic gearbox. It will get adaptive air suspension as an option. Noticeable changes will be made to its exterior and interior. 

Updated Volkswagen Tiguan

The 2021 Volkswagen Tiguan facelift will arrive sometime next month. The SUV will witness minor cosmetic upgrades along with a few new features and BS6-compliant petrol engine. It will come with the touchscreen climate controls instead of the buttons and knobs. On the exterior, the new Tiguan will feature new LED matrix headlamps, tweaked grille and bumpers, newly-designed 18-inch alloy wheels and revised taillamps with new LED elements. Under the hood, the SUV will feature BS6-ready 2.0L, 4-cylinder TSI turbo engine with a 7-speed DCT gearbox.

Skoda Auto might unveil its new Slavia mid-size sedan in November 2021. After the Kushaq SUV, the Skoda Slavia will be the brand’s second model to come under its India 2.0 project. In the company’s product lineup, the new sedan will be positioned above the Rapid. It’s likely to measure around 4.5 meters in length and sit on the segment’s largest wheelbase of 2651mm. The new Skoda sedan might share its powertrains with the Kushaq – i.e. 1.0L, 3-cylinder (115bhp/200Nm) and 1.5L turbo petrol (147bhp//250Nm). The latter one could be reserved for the higher trims.

The Japanese automaker will unveil its new compact SUV for the Indonesian market in November. If reports are to be believed, the model could be introduced as the 5-seater BR-V based on the brand’s new platform. The same architecture will also underpin Honda’s future SUVs. For power, the upcoming new Honda compact SUV might use the 1.0L turbo petrol engine borrowed from the Thai-spec City sedan. The automaker might also introduce the 1.2L naturally aspirated petrol or 1.5L petrol engine. The model will compete against the cars like Toyota Raize, Kia Sonet, Renault Kiger and Nissan Magnite.

The production-ready version of the Honda N7X SUV will make its global debut next month in Indonesia. The model will also be launched in other South Asian markets. If media reports are to be believed, it could be introduced as the new-generation Honda BR-V sharing its platform and engine with the City sedan. The new Honda 7-seater SUV could be made available with the 1.5L, 4-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine delivering power worth 121bhp and 145Nm of torque. Both manual and automatic gearboxes will be on offer.

The all-new Honda Civic hatchback is ready to debut next month. The model will mark debut the brand’s new platform that will also underpin the future Honda SUVs. Engine setup of the new Civic hatchback might include a 1.0L turbo and a 1.5L VTEC turbo petrol unit making 121bhp and 173bhp respectively. The automaker might also introduce the Honda i-MMD hybrid system. The company is also working Civic Type-R variant of the hatchback that’s reported to feature 400bhp, 2.0L turbo engine.
