4 New Cars Coming In the Next Couple of Weeks

March has been an action-packed month for the auto enthusiasts so far. In fact, 4 new car launches and unveiling have been planned for the remaining two weeks. Here’re key details of the upcoming 4 new cars, which are scheduled to arrive before the end of March 2022.

Tata Altroz DCT

Tata Altroz DCT Bookings

Tata Motors has confirmed that it will announce prices of the Altroz DCT petrol automatic model on 21st March. Its bookings have already underway for an initial sum of Rs 21,000. The model will come with the 1.2L naturally aspirated petrol engine that’s good for 86bhp and 113Nm. The motor will be paired to a new DCT automatic gearbox. The hatchback’s turbo-petrol and diesel variants will continue to come with the manual transmission.

New Maruti Ertiga, XL6

The 2022 Maruti Ertiga and XL6 facelifts have started arriving at dealerships ahead of their imminent launch. Launch date, however, is yet to be announced by the company. The new Ertiga will receive minor changes inside and out. Major update will come in the form of a 1.5L petrol engine making power worth 105bhp and a new 6-speed torque convertor automatic gearbox. This time around, the Maruti XL6 could be offered with the 6 and 7-seats configurations.

Jeep Meridian

Jeep Meridian Launch Date

Jeep Meridian, the upcoming three-row SUV from the American automaker, is ready to make its India debut on 29th March 2022. Its launch will happen in the month of May. Design and styling of the SUV will be similar to the Jeep Commander that’s currently on sale in select global markets. Compared to the Compass, the Meridian is longer and have more cabin space. For power, the new Jeep SUV will use the same 2.0L, 4-cylinder Multijet turbo diesel engine that does duty in the Compass. The motor will be paired to a 9-speed automatic gearbox.
