3 New SUV Launches In Next 2 Weeks – Tata, Mahindra, Hyundai

In the next two weeks, we will witness 3 big SUV launches from India’s top car manufacturers – Hyundai, Tata and Mahindra. Here’re key details of the upcoming models.  

Tata SUV – 27th Aug

Tata Motors has confirmed that it will soon introduce a new SUV in the country. The model is likely to go on sale on 27th August 2022. The automaker hasn’t yet revealed name and details of the upcoming model. We expect it to be a special edition under its ‘New Forever’ range or the updated version of the Harrier or Safari SUV. The new Tata SUV will feature the brand’s 2.0 Impact design language as revealed by the teaser. The company has been testing the Harrier and Safari petrol model for a while. The SUVs’ petrol variant is likely to come with a 1.5L turbo engine. More details here…

Hyundai Venue N Line – 6th Sep

Official bookings for the Hyundai Venue N Line have been commenced at an initial sum of Rs 21,000. The sporty version of the SUV will witness a market launch on 6th September 2022. The Venue N Line receives a few cosmetic enhancements over the regular model including a dark chrome grille, red highlights on the grille, bumper, fender, side sill and roof rails, N Line moniker on the side fenders and tailgate, R16 diamond cut alloys with N branding and red brake caliper. Unlike the standard model, the sportier Venue N Line has all-black interior with red highlights. More details here…

Mahindra XUV400 – 8th Sep

Mahindra & Mahindra will announce prices of the XUV400 electric SUV on 8th September 2022. The model is the electric iteration of the XUV300, though it measures around 4.2 meters in length. The automaker says that the Mahindra XUV400 will have the high-energy-dense NMC cells that will be superior than the Tata Nexon EV’s cylindrical LFP cells. The batteries, which will be sourced from LG Chem, will provide more power and longer range. The electric SUV is expected to deliver a range over 400km on a single charge. More details here…
