Mahindra & Mahindra recently introduced the facelifted TUV300 with minor cosmetic and feature upgrades, BS6-complaint engine and a new nameplate – Mahindra Bolero Neo. The subcompact SUV comes in three variants – N4, N8 and N10 – packed with a 100bhp, 1.5L mHawk diesel engine and a 5-speed manual gearbox. The carmaker has confirmed that the Bolero Neo model lineup will include a N10 (O) variant that’s likely to arrive in coming months. It will come with an additional feature called manual locking differential.
Besides this, the new Mahindra Bolero Neo will receive a new Royal Gold colour scheme in near future. At present, it’s available in six exterior shades – Pearl White, Napoli Black, Diamond White, Highway Red, Rocky Beige and Majestic Silver.
The next big launch from the home-grown carmaker will be the Mahindra XUV700 7-seater SUV. Its production-ready model is likely to debut in coming days, followed by its launch in September 2021. The XUV700 will be the most powerful vehicle in its category. Its petrol variant will come with 200bhp, 2.0L turbo unit and diesel version will derive power from a 185bhp, 2.2L mHawk motor. Both manual and automatic (torque convertor) gearboxes will be on offer. The XUV700 will be packed with several segment-first features including the auto booster headlamps, smart door handles, personalized safety alert system, a large panoramic sunroof and more.
Towards the end of this year, the carmaker will expand the Marazzo MPV model lineup with new automatic variant. The new model will come with the BS6, 1.5L turbo diesel engine with a new AMT gearbox. The carmaker might name it ‘AutoShift’ technology. At present, the MPV is available with a 6-speed manual gearbox and FWD system. There are three trims (M2, M4 and M6+) of the MPV, which are priced from Rs 12.03 lakh to Rs 14.12 lakh (all, ex-showroom).
