Tata Motors has recently launched the updated versions of the new Nexon and the Nexon EV. Now, the company is ready to launch the 2023 Tata Safari and the updated Harrier in the country tomorrow. Similar to the new Nexon twins, the new Safari and the Harrier SUVs will come with several segment-leading features.
Tata Motors has released the brochure of the updated Safari, which reveals the variant-wise features, colours and other details. With new updates, the 2023 Tata Safari gets several features which were not offered in the previous model. The new model is now offered with up to 7 airbags, powered tailgate, an updated ADAS tech with adaptive cruise control, a multi-colour ambient lighting and dual-zone climate control.
2023 Tata Safari Variant-Wise Colours
The new Safari 3-row SUV is available in 4 trim levels – Smart, Pure, Adventure and Accomplished. The Smart and Pure trims are available with two colour options – Stellar Frost and Lunar Slate. It is also offered in the Dark Edition, which is finished in Oberon Black.
The Adventure trim is offered in 4 colour options – Supernova Copper, Stellar Frost, Stardust Ash and Galactic Sapphire. The top-spec Accomplished trim is offered in 4 paint scheme – Cosmic Gold, Stellar Frost, Stardust Ash and Galactic Sapphire.
The SUV also gets a new 12.3-inch Harman-sourced touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, an all-digital instrument console with navigation support, a new 4-spoke steering with an illuminated Tata logo, a touch-based HVAC controls with two toggles, a JBL-sourced 10-speaker setup, wireless charger, a 360 degree surround camera, a panoramic sunroof and terrain response mode selector with display.
The 2023 Tata Safari is powered by a new 2.0-litre 4-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine that produces 170PS of power and 350Nm of torque. Transmission choices include a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed torque convertor automatic.
The manual version of the new Safari is claimed to offer a fuel economy of 16.30kmpl, while the automatic version returns 14.50kmpl. Compared to the previous model, the Safari manual and automatic versions offer an improved mileage of 0.14kmpl and 0.42kmpl respectively.
