Waiting Period of Tata Cars – Tiago, Altroz, Nexon, Harrier, Safari

Tata Motors, the indigenous automaker, is making significant strides in enhancing its existing model range, spanning from the Nexon to the Harrier and Safari, by introducing design and feature upgrades. Additionally, the company is set to launch a range of new ICE SUVs and electric vehicles within the next 2-3 years. In October 2023, Tata Motors secured the third position in terms of total sales, with 45,220 units sold, trailing only behind Maruti Suzuki and Hyundai. The Nexon continued its reign as the best-selling Tata model, while the Punch, Tiago, and Altroz followed closely in the second, third, and fourth positions, respectively.

In the previous month, Tata Motors successfully delivered 2,762 units of the Harrier and 1,751 units of the Safari SUVs, both of which are set to receive substantial updates on October 17, 2023. Currently, the Harrier model lineup offers seven trims – XE, XM, XMS, XT+, XZ, XZ+, and XZA+ (O), with prices starting at Rs 15.20 lakh. On the other hand, the Safari has a base price of Rs 15.85 lakh. The pre-facelift versions of these SUVs carry a waiting period of four to six weeks. Both models are equipped with a 168bhp, 2.0L Kryotec diesel engine, available with manual and automatic gearboxes.

Tata Altroz DCT Bookings

Tata’s popular Tiago hatchback currently experiences a waiting period of up to four weeks in the Mumbai region. For the Tiago CNG variant, customers may need to wait up to eight weeks. The hatchback is offered in various trims, including XE, XM, XT (O), XT, XZ+, XT NRG, and XZ NRG, all powered by a 1.2L Revotron petrol engine.

Tata Altroz diesel models have a waiting period of up to six weeks from the booking date, while the Altroz CNG variant has a slightly shorter waiting period of up to four weeks. The second top-selling Tata model, the Punch in both petrol and CNG options, comes with waiting periods of up to four weeks and 12 weeks, respectively. Buyers interested in the Tata Nexon can expect a waiting period of six to eight weeks.
