Maruti Suzuki had introduced the new Baleno and the updated versions of the XL6 and the Ertiga MPVs in the country in 2022. The new models receive significant design changes and upgraded interior along with new engine-gearbox combinations. Maruti Suzuki has now released new connectivity features in the Baleno, XL6 and the Ertiga. These connectivity features will be available via an Over-The-Air (OTA) update.
The new models are now compatible with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The new-age Maruti Baleno will come with Turn-By-Turn navigation on Head Up Display (HUD). Turn-By-Turn navigation is also available on the speedometer Multi-Information Display (MID) of the Baleno, Ertiga and XL6.
Adding to it, the Maruti Ertiga and XL6 now comes with premium acoustic turning “Surround Sense” powered by ARKAMYS. These upgrades are offered on both existing & new customers. Customers can easily install the update via smartphones+ or download the same from Maruti Suzuki’s official website.
Maruti Suzuki has recently rolled out similar connectivity updates for the Brezza. These features are now offered as standard in the Grand Vitara SUV, which was launched in September 2022. The top-spec models are offered with a 9-inch SmartPlay+ Pro touchscreen infotainment system with smartphone connectivity.
Maruti Suzuki is now preparing to launch the new Fronx crossover and the Jimny 5-door lifestyle SUV. While the former is set to go on sale by April, the Jimny is expected to be launched by May 2023. Customers can book the new Fronx and Jimny lifestyle SUV online or at NEXA dealerships by paying Rs 11,000 and Rs 25,000 respectively.
