Minor cosmetic changes will be made to the 2023 Kia Carens facelift. The MPV is expected to receive most of the updates at the front end along with the slightly revised rear bumper. Inside, there could be a new touchscreen infotainment system and updated instrument cluster. The new interior theme along with the new seat upholstery could be offered to give it a refreshing look. This time around, the carmaker might offer the Carens with a panoramic sunroof.

Engine setup of the updated Carens is likely to remain intact. That means, it will come with the 1.5L turbo petrol and 1.5L diesel motors delivering power worth 160bhp with 253Nm and 115bhp respectively. Both units meet the RDE (Real Driving Emission) standards and E20 fuel compliance. Transmission choices will also remain unchanged – i.e. a 6-speed manual, a 6-speed iMT and a 7-speed DCT automatic unit.

Prices of the new 2023 Kia Carens facelift are likely to be more or less similar to the current model that costs between Rs 10.45 lakh – Rs 18.95 lakh (all, ex-showroom).
