2022 Toyota Fortuner, Legender Price Increased By Up To Rs 1.10 Lakh

Toyota has announced a price hike for the Innova Crysta and the Fortuner. The 2022 Innova Crysta gets two new base variant, and the prices of the existing range has been increased by up to Rs 33,000. On the other hand, the prices of the 2022 Toyota Fortuner and the Legender are increased by up to Rs 1.10 lakh.

The 2022 Toyota Fortuner is available in 2 petrol and 4 diesel variants. The petrol MT and AT variants are now priced at Rs 31.39 lakh and Rs 32.98 lakh respectively. On the other hand, the diesel MT 2WD & diesel AT 2WD are now priced at Rs 33.89 lakh and Rs 36.17 lakh respectively. These variants have received a price hike of Rs 66,000.

Toyota Fortuner Legender 4X4 Price

The top-spec diesel MT 4×4 and AT 4×4 are now tagged at Rs 36.99 lakh and Rs 39.28 lakh respectively. The Fortuner Legender 4×2 AT diesel and 4×4 AT diesel are now priced at Rs 39.71 lakh and Rs 43.43 lakh respectively. These high-spec variants are now costlier by Rs 1.10 lakh.

The Toyota Fortuner is available with two engine options – a 2.7-litre petrol and a 2.8-litre turbo-diesel. The petrol engine is capable of producing 166bhp and 245Nm of torque. Transmission choices include a 5-speed manual and a 6-speed torque convertor automatic. The turbo diesel engine is capable of producing 201bhp of power and 420Nm of torque. It is paired to a 6-speed manual gearbox. With automatic gearbox, the torque figure rises to 500Nm.

The company will also launch the Rumion MPV, which is a re-badged Ertiga. Toyota and Suzuki JV is also preparing a mid-sized SUV to rival the Hyundai Creta and the Kia Seltos.
