Maruti Suzuki India has rolled out the updated WagonR hatchback in the country. Prices of the new model start from Rs 5.39 lakh and go up to Rs 7.10 lakh. The 2022 Maruti WagonR model lineup includes four AGS (AMT) variants – VXi, ZXi, ZXi+ and ZXi+ dual-tone – priced at Rs 6.36 lakh, Rs 6.49 lakh, Rs 6.98 lakh and Rs 7.10 lakh respectively. All aforementioned prices are ex-showroom.
The new WagonR is also available via Maruti Suzuki Subscribe at an all-inclusive monthly subscription fee starting from Rs 12,300. The subscription charge covers complete registration, service and maintenance, insurance and roadside assistance.

The new Maruti WagonR 2022 has received noticeable cosmetic changes and feature upgrades along with the new engines. The automaker has also introduced two new dual-tone colour schemes, namely – Gallant Red and Magma Grey. Both paint schemes, which are reserved for the Z+ variants) come with blacked-out floating roof, ORVMs and pillars. No changes have been made to its dimensions. The new 2022 Maruti WagonR has been offered with the next-generation K10C and K12N Dualjet petrol engines benefited with the dual VVT and idle start stop technology. Compared to the old model, the new one is more frugal. The 1.0L manual and AGS petrol variants are claimed to deliver a mileage of 24.35kmpl and 25.19kmpl respectively.

The 1.2L manual and AGS petrol variants promise fuel economy of 23.56kmpl and 24.43kmpl respectively. While the 1.0L manual CNG model offers 34.05km/kg, the 1.0L Tour H3 manual and CNG versions deliver 25.40km/l and 34.73km/kg respectively.
One of the major updates come in the form of a 7-inch SmartPlay Studio touchscreen infotainment system with smartphone navigation and a premium sound system with 4-speakers. The hatchback also receives steering mounted controls and auto gear shift technology. All variants of the new WagonR offer dual airbags, ABS with EBD, high speed alert system, front seat belts reminder and rear parking sensors. The hill hold assist system is exclusively offered in the AGS variants.
