The new 2022 Maruti Vitara Brezza has been revealed via spy images ahead of its official debut that’s scheduled to happen early next year. The fresh images reveal updated exterior and interior of the subcompact SUV.
Most of the cosmetic changes have been made at the front end including a newly-designed grille, new headlamps and updated bumper. It seems the second-generation Vitara Brezza gets new body panels and it underpins the Heartect platform ensuring better safety and handling. The SUV also receives tweaked taillamps and rear bumper.
Maruti Suzuki has made comprehensive updates inside the cabin as well. One of the major highlights of the new 2022 Maruti Vitara Brezza is the factory-fitted sunroof. The compact SUV has a new interior theme with completely revised dashboard, a new console and instrument cluster. It comes equipped with a large touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, voice recognition and navigation. The list of features also includes wireless charging system, paddle shifters and automatic AC unit.
Under the hood, the new Maruti Vitara Brezza 2022 might feature the same 1.5L K15B petrol engine making power worth 103bhp and 138Nm of torque. Reports suggest that the SUV could be offered with the stronger 48V hybrid technology making it more fuel efficient than the current generation. There will also be CNG variant with 1.5L K15B petrol motor and factory-fitted CNG kit. Its power and torque figures will stand at 91bhp and 122Nm respectively. A 5-speed manual gearbox will be standard across the model lineup.
The Indo-Japanese automaker is currently testing the new-generation Alto hatchback and updated XL6 MPV in the country. While the former will arrive towards the end of 2022, the latter is reported to launch in January 2022.
