Maruti Suzuki, the Indo-Japanese automaker, has planned several exciting product launches for the next year. One of them will be the second-generation Brezza that’s slated to hit roads in early 2022. We have seen the camouflaged test mules of the new model revealing some interesting details. Based on the latest spy images, here’re digital renderings of the new 2022 Maruti Brezza in seven bright colour schemes. You can see the SUV in White, Black, Grey, Blue, Silver, Red and Oragne shades.
The new Brezza will receive significant changes at the front end including a newly-designed grille, tweaked dual-beam projector headlamps, revised bumper with a wider air intake, a faux skid plate and new fog lamp assembly with blacked-out bezels.
Moving to its side profile, the SUV features roof rails and black cladding around wheel arches and door sills. It also gets blacked-out A, B and C-pillars, a shark fin antenna and a new set of diamond cut alloy wheels. The rear section has been revised with new wraparound LED taillamps, an integrated roof spoiler with brake light and revised tailgate. You can notice the ‘Brezza’ logo on the tailgate.
Interior of the new 2022 Maruti Brezza will surely be more upmarket than the current generation. The SUV is likely to come with a new dashboard design and new air con vents. Major update will come in the form of a new and bigger touchscreen infotainment system supporting Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. The SUV is reported to receive a factory-fitted sunroof, a 360 degree camera and lane change assist for the first time. It might also come with the connected car tech.
No changes are likely to be made under the hood. The new 2022 Maruti Brezza will continue to come with the existing 1.5L K15B naturally aspirated petrol engine and 5-speed manual and 4-speed automatic gearbox options. The gasoline unit returns a claimed power of 104bhp and 138Nm of torque. It might also be offered with the stronger 48V hybrid system instead of the existing 12V mild hybrid setup.
