2022 Mahindra XUV300 Facelift – Front, Rear Design Rendered

Mahindra XUV300, the sub-4 meter offering from the home-grown automaker, is ready to receive its first mid-life update sometime next year. While its launch is months away, a latest digital rendering previews its updated model in five bright colours. The rendered model features the brand’s new twin peaks logo along with a few cosmetic upgrades. The new 2022 Mahindra XUV300 facelift carries a newly-designed front grille and updated front and rear bumpers.

One can also notice the tweaked headlamp and taillamp assemblies. The subcompact SUV has been assembled with the newly-designed 17-inch alloy wheels. Major changes are likely to be made inside its cabin. The new 2022 Mahindra XUV300 facelift might come with sporty all-black interior theme, new seat upholstery and rear AC vents. There could be a touchscreen infotainment system with piano black surrounds.

2022 Mahindra XUV300 Features

Most of the features will be carried forward from the current model including connected car tech, auto climate control, cruise control, auto dimming rear view mirror, powered sunroof, leatherette upholstery, front parking sensors, reverse parking camera, electronic stability program with hill hold assist and rollover mitigation, seven airbags and tyre pressure monitoring system. Under the hood, the new 2022 Mahindra XUV300 facelift is likely to feature the same 1.2L turbocharged petrol and 1.5: CRDi diesel engines. While the former makes 109bhp with 200Nm, the latter delivers power worth 115bhp and 300Nm of torque. Both motors will come with the 6-speed manual and AMT gearbox options.

2022 Mahindra XUV300 Changes

With the mid-life update, the subcompact SUV might receive a new and more powerful 1.2L T-GDI petrol engine pushing out 130bhp and 230Nm. It will make the new XUV300 the most powerful car in its segment. The new gasoline motor will be paired to a 6-speed manual gearbox. The 1.2L turbo mStallion petrol unit is reported to be offered across all trims – W4, W6, W8 and W8 (O).
