Maruti Suzuki is all set to roll out the new-generation Alto K10 hatchback tomorrow (i.e. 18th August 2022). Ahead of its market arrival, the company has begun dispatching the model across its Arena dealerships. Interested buyers can pre-book the vehicle by paying a sum of Rs 11,000. The new 2022 Maruti Alto K10 witness significant changes inside and out along with stretched dimensions.
The hatchback model lineup will be made available in four trims – Std, LXi, VXi and VXi+. There will be 6 exterior colour options – Sizzling Red, Granite Grey, Solid White, Speedy Blue, Silky White and Earth Gold. Dimensionally, the new 2022 Maruti Alto K10 measures 3530mm in length, 1490mm in width and 1520mm in height. The hatch has a wheelbase of 2380mm, which is 20mm longer than the Alto 800. Its ground clearance stands at 160mm and boot space at 177-litres.
For power, the new Maruti Alto will use the 1.0L K-Series petrol engine benefited with the start/stop technology. The gasoline unit dishes out a peak power of 67bhp and 89Nm of torque. With extended wheelbase, the new Alto K10 will ensure more cabin space. The hatchback has an all-black dashboard with an integrated 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system. The unit supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. There is a digital instrument cluster along with the electric adjustable ORVMs, remote key, manual AC unit and four power windows with buttons placed on its dashboard.
The automaker has equipped all variants of the 2022 Maruti Alto K10 with dual front airbags, rear parking sensors and anti-lock braking system (ABS). A few noticeable cosmetic changes have also been made to the hatchback.
As far as pricing is concerned, the new Maurti Alto 2022 is likely to witness a minor hike. At present, the Alto 800 comes within the price range of Rs 3.39 lakh – Rs 5.03 lakh. The new Alto K10 is expected to cost from Rs 4.50 lakh to Rs 7 lakh (all, ex-showroom).
