New Honda Activa Premium Edition Unveiled – Key Features

Honda 2Wheelers has unveiled the new Activa Premium Edition that’s ready for the market launch. While its official launch date is yet to be announced, the model is likely to go on sale in coming days. The new Honda Activa Premium Edition, which is based on the Activa 6G, receives a few cosmetic enhancements over the regular model. The model has been painted in a new Gloss Metallic Navy Blue colour scheme and has Golden wheels and 3D Gold lettering on the panels.

The Golden accents at the front further enhance its sporty looks. The new Honda Activa Premium Edition comes with a new polished Brown seat with a matching floorboard panel. It’s entire design and silhouette of the scooter remains intact.

No changes are likely to be made to its powertrain. The new Honda Activa Premium Edition will continue to derive power from the 109.5cc fuel injected motor that’s good for 7.96bhp at 7,500rpm and 7.79bhp at 8,000rpm. All features will continue to be on offer including the ‘Silent Start’ system, external fuel filler cap, pass light switch, 12-inch front wheel, a telescopic fork suspension unit and more.

Recently, Honda 2Wheelers introduced the new CB300F motorcycle in Deluxe and Deluxe Pro variants priced at Rs 2.26 lakh and Rs 2.29 lakh (all, ex-showroom). The bike is being sold via the company’s premium BigWing dealership network. The model has been made available in three paint schemes – Sports Red, Mat Axi Grey Metallic and Mat Marvel Blue Metallic.

The new Honda CB300F is powered by a new 293cc, 4V oil-cooled SOHC motor making power worth 24bhp and 25.6Nm of torque. It comes with a 5-speed gearbox, assist slipper and Honda selectable torque control. The bike sits on the diamond type frame and rides on 17-inch wheels shod with 110/70 section front and 150/60 section rear tyres.
