2022 Hyundai Venue Price Announcement In May – Report

Launched in 2019, the Hyundai Venue subcompact SUV has been doing great in terms of sales for the South Korean automaker in the country. Now, the company is ready to give it a mid-life update next month (i.e. May 2022). One must note that the official launch date and details of the new 2022 Hyundai Venue facelift is yet to be revealed by the automaker. The updated model is currently in its final testing phase and has been caught on camera multiple times. The spy images and videos confirm a few design changes that will be made to the SUV.

Talking about the cosmetic changes, the new Venue will feature a newly-designed ‘Parametric Dynamics’ grille borrowed from the new-gen Tucson. The same unit will be seen on the upcoming Hyundai Creta facelift that’s due for the second half of 2022. At the front end, the subcompact SUV is likely to carry revised split LED headlamps and bumper. The side profile is expected to remain more or less similar to the existing model, expect the newly-designed alloy wheels.

2022 Hyundai Venue facelift

The new Hyundai Venue 2022 will have a completely revised rear section featuring new L-shaped taillamps with integrated LED elements extending to the tailgate, a faux skid plate and updated bumper with new inserts. Interior details of the new 2022 Hyundai Venue facelift are not available. Though, the vehicle is likely to receive new seat upholstery and new interior theme along with a bunch of new features.

Mechanically, the new Venue is likely to remain unchanged. Similar to the current model, the new one will be available with the 83bhp, 1.2L naturally aspirated petrol, 120bhp, 1.0L turbo petrol and 100bhp, 1.5L diesel engine options. Transmissions will also be carried forward from the existing model lineup. The 1.2L petrol motor will come with a 5-speed manual gearbox, the 1.0L turbo petrol and 1.5L diesel units will get a 6-speed manual transmission. The turbo-petrol engine will also be offered with the iMT clutchless manual and 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearboxes.
