2022 Hyundai Venue Facelift To Get Major Changes & New N-Line Variant

Hyundai has recently revealed the facelifted Creta SUV, which is reportedly to be launched in India in 2022. The company is also working on the Venue facelift that has been spotted testing in South Korea. A latest spy image of the 2022 Hyundai Venue suggest that the sub-4 meter SUV could receive a N-Line variant.

The latest spy image shows the rear profile of the Venue facelift. It is visible that the 2022 Hyundai Venue will come with significantly revised rear profile. The spotted model has a completely re-designed tail-gate with new tail-lights and rear bumper.

What’s interesting is that the spotted model has twin-tip exhaust and differently styled alloy wheels. In fact, the alloy design is similar to N-line models from Hyundai. The 2022 Hyundai Venue gets new tail-lights, which will be connected by a thin LED strip.

Previous spy images show that the Venue facelift will receive a re-designed front fascia. It will most likely to come with Tucson-inspired front fascia, featuring new parametric grille and new rectangular shaped headlamp unit placed lower on the bumper. The LED DRLs (Daytime Running Lamps) are expected to look like the new Tucson. The LED DRLs will look like a part of grille.

Interior details are yet to be revealed; however, it is likely to receive minor changes in the form of new colour scheme and upholstery. Hyundai could also add new features that are missing in the current model.

The 2022 Hyundai Venue is likely to retain the existing engine set-up comprising a 1.2L NA petrol, a 1.0L turbocharged petrol and a 1.5L turbo-diesel. While the 1.2L NA engine produces 83bhp and 113Nm of torque, the turbo unit is good for 118bhp and 175Nm of torque. The turbo-diesel engine produces 99bhp and 240Nm of torque. Transmission choices include a 5-speed MT with 1.2L petrol, a 6-speed MT as standard, an iMT and 7-speed DCT with 1.0L turbo-unit. Similar to the Sonet, the Venue diesel could also receive an automatic gearbox option. With 6AT, this engine should offer 113bhp and 250Nm of torque.
