2022 Hyundai Creta Final Model Revealed Ahead of Global Debut

Hyundai Creta, the mid-size SUV from the South Korean automaker, is ready to receive a mid-life update next month. The model will be unveiled at the Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) that slated to begin from 11th November 2021 in Indonesia. Ahead of its world debut, the first image of its production-ready model has been emerged on the web. The fog lamp assembly with black surround and black treatment on the lower section of the front bumper further enhance its sporty looks. The squared-off wheel arches with black cladding and diamond cut alloy wheels adore the side profile. The new Hyundai Creta 2022 is likely to receive new split taillamps at the back. Similar to the new-gen Tucson, the Creta features Hyundai’s Sensuous Sportiness design language.

Hyundai Creta 2022 Teased

The automaker has already dropped multiple teaser video of the updated Creta revealing some of its exterior and interior details. Talking about the cabin, the SUV comes with the all digital instrument cluster, remote start/stop via Hyundai BlueLink app and Lane Drive Assist function with mounted control buttons on the steering wheel. Rumour has that the automaker might equip the new 2022 Hyundai Creta with the Level 2 ADAS (advanced driver assistance system) and 360 degree camera.

The Indonesia-spec new Creta will source its power from a 1.5L petrol engine that can be had with a 6-speed manual gearbox or a CVT automatic transmission. The gasoline motor pushes out a peak power of 113bhp against 145Nm of torque. In India, the new Hyundai Creta 2022 will continue to come with the three engine options – a 113bhp, 1.5L NA petrol, a 113bhp, 1.5L turbo-diesel and a 138bhp, 1.4L turbo-petrol.
