2022 Honda BR-V 7-Seater Launched In Thailand; Gets ADAS

Honda had launched the new BR-V 3-row SUV in Indonesia in November 2021. The company has now launched the 2022 Honda BR-V 7-seater in Thailand. It is offered in two variants – E and EL – priced at 930,000 baht (Approx INR 20.28 Lakh) and 980,000 baht (Approx INR 21.37 lakh) respectively.

Compared to the previous model, the 2022 Honda BR-V is more sophisticated in terms of design and standard equipment. It was first previewed as the N7X concept. The vehicle comes with a more refined and rugged look, and comes with a larger footprint. In terms of proportions, the new BR-V is 4,490mm long, 1,780mm wide and 1,685mm tall and has a wheelbase of 2,695mm.

2022 Honda BR-V Thailand Specs

The 2022 Honda BR-V is powered by a 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder naturally-aspirated petrol engine that produces 121PS at 6,600rpm and a peak torque of 145Nm at 4,300rpm. Power will be transmitted to the front wheels via a CVT.

2022 Honda BR-V E Variant

The entry-level Honda BR-V E variant gets 16-inch wheels shod with 215/60 section tyres. In terms of equipment, the base model gets electric power steering, ventilated front disc brakes & rear drum brakes, automatic LED headlamps, LED DRLs and electrically adjustable ORVMs with integrated turn signals.

Inside the cabin, the base model gets a 4.2-inch MID, dual-tone Black & Mocha Grey leather upholstery, automatic AC, keyless entry & start, a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto & Apple CarPlay, a multi-function steering wheel and 4-speakers.

This variant rides on 17-inch wheels wrapped in 215/55 section tyres, a piano black front grille, LED fog lamps, auto folding ORVMs, all-black leather upholstery, paddle shifters, 6 speakers and illuminated vanity mirrors.

ADAS Features

The SUV comes with Honda Sensing suite as standard. It offers multiple ADAS features including Collision Mitigation Braking (CMBS), Lane Keeping Assist System, Road Departure Mitigation System with lane Departure Warning, Auto High-Beam, Adaptive Cruise Control and Lead Car Departure Notification System.

As standard, the 2022 Honda BR-V gets Honda LaneWatch, a rearview camera, vehicle stability assist, ABS with EBD, brake assist, hill start assist, walk away auto lock and 4 airbags. The EL variant gets additional side airbags – a total of six airbags. The 7-seater model is available in 3 colours – Sunlight White Pearl, Crystal Black Pearl and Taffeta White. Honda is also offering a range of modulo accessories including a tailgate garnish, window visors, a stainless steel exhaust pipe finisher, side mirror garnish and fitted sunshades for second-row passengers.
