Japanese automaker, Honda has released the new generation 2022 Honda BR-V 3-row SUV in Indonesia. The vehicle looks largely identical to the Honda N7X concept, which was showcased a few months ago. The majority of the design elements are retained; however, it gets new fog lamp housing and toned-down bumpers and grille design.
These are the latest real-world interior images of the 2022 Honda BR-V 3-row SUV. The SUV has shared several features and design elements from the bigger Honda’s including the new City sedan and the CR-V turbo. In fact, the dashboard design seems inspired by the bigger CR-V. Features like steering wheel, AC design and the panel design has similarities with the bigger sibling, while few dashboard elements look similar to the new Brio/ Amaze.
The dashboard has hard plastic along with some soft material. The top-spec 2022 Honda BR-V Prestige variant has leather upholstery on the seats. It also gets central console box with cover, which also works as an armrest for driver. The seats come with manual adjustment functions.
The 2022 Honda BR-V comes with all-new steering wheel, which accommodates several buttons to access MID, multimedia and telephony. The SUV also has Honda Sensing safety system, as the steering is crowded several buttons. The right buttons are to access MID and adaptive cruise control.
The SUV gets automatic headlamps; however, wipers are still manually adjustable. The button for the Honda LaneWatch system is combined with the turn signal and lamp lever. The speedometer design is inspired by the City Hatchback RS. It gets engine start/stop system as standard.
The 2022 Honda BR-V features an automatic air conditioner with a “Max Cool” button for maximum cooling. The SUV gets a touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay support and hands-free telephony. There is no paddle shifters in the BR-V.
The all-new Honda BR-V comes equipped with Honda Sensing technology, which is basically ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System). It offers features like Lead Car Departure Notification System (LCDN), Collision Mitigation Brake System (CMBS), Lane Keeping Assist System (LKAS), Road Departure Mitigation (RDM), Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), and Auto-High Beam.
The 2022 Honda BR-V 7-seater SUV is powered by a 1.5-litre DOHC i-VTEC petrol engine that is capable of producing 121PS at 6,600rpm and a peak torque of 145Nm at 4,300rpm. It is paired to a CVT automatic gearbox. This engine is compatible with EURO 4 emission standards.
