The first spy pictures of the third-generation Ford Endeavour recently emerged on the web revealing some interesting details. The SUV’s new model will make its official debut sometime next year, followed by its India launch. While its arrival is months away, a latest digital rendering (based on the spy pictures) previews the possible design of the production-ready model. The rendered 2022 Ford Endeavour appears much evolved and bigger than the current generation model. Some of its design elements seem borrowed from the recently-unveiled F-Series pickup trucks.
The front fascia of the new Endeavour carries more upright stance with the signature grille, C-shaped LED headlamps with two-slat chrome strips running between them, revised bumper, larger air intake sculpted bonnet and newly-designed fog lamps. Compared to the existing version, the new one has sharper character lines and more body cladding all around the body. While the window line remains intact, it comes with new air vents.
At the rear end, the new Ford Endeavour 2022 sports newly-designed taillamps, roof integrated spoiler, a highly raked windshield, revised windshield and bumper. One of the major changes will be made to its underpinning. The 2022 Ford Endavour will sit on the slightly updated ladder frame platform borrowed from the new Ranger. Globally, the 2022 Ford Endeavour SUV will be offered with the new 2.0L, 4-cylinder twin turbo EcoBlue diesel engine. The oil burner delivers a claimed power of 213bhp and 500Nm of torque. The twin-turbo motor might also be introduced in India. At present, we have Endeavour with the 170bhp, single-turbo diesel engine. A 10-speed automatic gearbox will be standard across the SUV model lineup. Rumour has it that the new Ford Endeavour 2022 could be the hybrid powertrain at a later stage.
