2021 Suzuki Hayabusa 2nd Batch Coming By July; Bookings Open Soon

The third-generation Suzuki Hayabusa is surely one of the biggest new bike launches of this year. The supersport tourer, which is claimed to be the “quickest Hayabusa ever”, has been priced at Rs 16.4 lakh (ex-showroom). Interestingly, the first batch of the motorcycle was sold out within two days of its price announcement. Customers of the first 101 units get a complimentary rear seat cowl. According to a fresh report, the second batch of the 2021 Suzuki Hayabusa will arrive by July or August 2021. Its bookings are likely to open next month.

The new Hayabusa comes powered by a 1,340cc, 4-cylinder engine, which has been tweaked for delivering better performance. The motor features new connecting rods, lighter pistons and new fuel injectors. Compared to the previous engine that was good for 197bhp and 150Nm, the updated one is slightly less powerful (7bhp). Now, the calibrated motor promises a peak power of 190bhp and 150Nm of torque. It’s claimed to offer stronger torque delivery.

2021 Suzuki Hayabusa features

Sitting on Suzuki’s twin-spar aluminum frame, the 2021 Hayabusa weighs 2kgs lesser than the previous model. However, its wheelbase remains unchanged – i.e. 1480mm. Suspension system of the bike includes the new Busa uses Showa units with tweaked component and mechanism. The 2021 Suzuki Hayabusa comes with the Brembo’s Stylema calipers up front brake and Bridgestone Battlax S22 tyres.

In terms of features, the new Hayabusa offers a new six-axis IMU including 10 levels of anti-wheelie control, 10 levels of traction control, three power modes, three levels of engine brake control, launch control, hill hold control, cornering ABS and cruise control. Some of its key features include a LED headlamp, new symmetrical twin silencer exhaust system, LED taillamps, LED turn indicators, a new TFT display, a large dashboard and more. The overall length, width and height of the 2021 Suzuki Hayabusa stand at 2180mm, 735mm and 1165mm respectively.
