Buyers can book the vehicle by paying an initial sum of Rs 50,000 online or at any Volkswagen dealership across the country. Deliveries of the 2021 Volkswagen T-Roc will begin in the month of May. The SUV was first launched at Rs 19.99 lakh in March 2020 and its first batch (including 1,000 units) was sold out within few months of its arrival.
No changes have been made to the 2021 Volkswagen T-Roc. The SUV continues to feature the 1.5L, 4-cylinder turbocharged TSI petrol engine that’s good enough for 148bhp and 250Nm of torque. The motor has been boosted with an idle auto start/stop system with Active Cylinder Technology (ACT). It improves the overall fuel efficiency and performance of the vehicle. The 2021 model comes in a single fully-loaded variant packed with features such as full-LED headlamps and tail-lamps, dual-tone alloy wheels, an 8.0-inch touchscreen supporting Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a digital instrument cluster, ‘Vienna’ leather seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, front and a panoramic sunroof. On the safety front, it offers 6 airbags, a tyre pressure monitoring system, anti-lock braking system (ABS) with electronic brakeforce distribution (EBD), electric stability control and a parking camera.
Similar to the first batch, the second batch units comes in 5 colour schemes – Curcuma Yellow, Indium Grey, Ravenna Blue, Energetic Orange and Pure White. All these shades are available with a black roof. The SUV is also offered in a Deep Black Pearl exterior finish. The SIV offers a 445-litre of boot space.
