Triumph Motorcycles India today rolled out the updated Bonneville Bobber at a starting price of Rs 11.75 lakh. The bike comes in three colour options, namely, Classic Jet Black, Cordovan Red and Matt Strom Grey with Matt Ironstone. While the Classic Jet Black is the most affordable variant priced at Rs 11.75 lakh, the Cordovan Red and Matte Strom Grey with Matte Ironstone colour models cost Rs 11.88 lakh and Rs 12.05 lakh respectively. The 2021 Triumph Bonneville Bobber has witness significant changes on mechanical and cosmetic fronts. At the heart of the new model is a 1,200cc, twin-cylinder engine that’s good enough for 77bhp at 6,100rpm and 106Nm at 5,500rpm. The motor is claimed to offer better performance. It has ride-by-wire throttle and offers two riding modes – Rain and Road – for adjusting traction control settings and throttle response.
The bikemaker claims that the new Bonneville Bobber has a new 12-litre fuel tank that promises up to 3% more range. The bike runs on 16-inch front wheel and wider rear wheel with Avon Cobra tyres. Suspension setup of the updated model includes 47mm front forks and monoshock unit at the rear. It features a “swing-cage” rear swingarm at the rear along with a floating aluminum seat with 690mm of height. Braking duties are done by twin discs upfront and a single disc rear brakes. It gets ABS (anti-lock braking system) and a switchable traction control system.
The 2021 Triumph Bonneville Bobber has LED lighting system, black bar end mirrors, minimal fenders, wide flat handlebars, sculpted top yoke, side mounted ignition barrel, rubber gaiters and drum brake inspired rear hub. The bikemaker is offering a range of accessories with the bike including multiple seating and luggage options, an alternative high bar setup, adjustable footpeg and seat.
