2021 Tata Nexon Gets 2 New Updates – All Details Here

Tata Motors recently made two updates to its highly popular Nexon sub-4 meter SUV. The 2021 Tata Nexon comes with the Indian voice assistance system co-developed by Mihub Communication – a Kolkata based start up and Harman International. Called the AVA Auto, the solution enables hands-free operation of in-car function including navigation, phone, audio and AC. It comes with three connectivity options – online, offline and hybrid. The AVA Auto system has also been introduced on the Tata Altroz premium hatchback model lineup. Mihub has already started working on Benglish (Bengali + Engilish) and Tamilsh (Tamil + Engilish) languages. The system will cover all major Indian languages by 2022.

New Generation Tata Nexon

The 2021 Tata Nexon has dropped the Tectonic Blue colour scheme. It’s now available in 5 paint options, namely, Daytona Grey, Foliage Green, Pure Silver, Flame Red and Calgary White. The compact SUV model lineup is currently available in 12 variants spread across 4 trims – XE, XM, XZ and XZ+. Prices of the Nexon start from Rs 7.19 lakh for the base variant and go up to Rs 12.95 lakh for the fully-loaded model. All aforementioned prices are ex-showroom, Delhi.

Under the hood, the 2021 Tata Nexon features a 1.2-litre turbo-petrol and a 1.5-litre diesel motor meeting the BS6 emission norms. Both engines offers an identical claimed power of 110hp with 170Nm (petrol) and 260Nm (diesel). The subcompact SUV can be had with either a 6-speed manual transmission or an AMT gearbox. The Tata Nexon is the brand’s first model to score 5 star safety rating from Global NCAP, followed by Altroz hatchback. Safety fitments such as dual airbags, rear parking sensors, seat belt reminder, Isofix child-seat anchorage, traction control, hill hold assist and electronic stability program are standard across the model lineup.
