2021 Royal Enfield Classic 350 Launching Soon; Gets Tripper Nav.

Royal Enfield has been extensively testing the new-generation Classic 350 motorcycle. We have seen multiple spy pictures and videos revealing some interesting details of the new model. The latest set of spy images confirms that the 2021 Royal Enfield Classic 350 has a digital display for basic information from the fuel gauge and odometer and a Tipper navigation pod similar to the RE Meteor. Royal Enfield’s Tipper navigation system shows turn-by-turn navigation when connected to the smartphone via Royal Enfield app.

The bike receives some noticeable styling updates including narrower circular LED lights and turn indicators, new single-piece grab rail (placed slightly higher) and a new split seats for offering more comfortable ride. You can notice chrome finishing on engine case, exhaust system and other parts of the bike.

Design elements such as circular headlamps with chrome bezels, circular rear view mirrors, a teardrop shaped fuel tank and broad rear fenders are exactly similar to the current generation. The 2021 Royal Enfield Classic 350 will be built on a new J platform and a single downtube chassis instead of a double-cradle chassis. For power, the bike will use a new 348cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine paired to a new 5-speed gearbox.

The same powertrain does duty in the RE Meteor 350. The motor pushes out a maximum power of 20.2bhp and 27Nm of torque. Compared to the current generation, the new one will be 1bhp more powerful and 1Nm less torqueier.

The bikemaker hasn’t yet revealed its launch date, but it’s reported to arrive in coming weeks. Compared to the current generation, the new RE Classic 350 will slightly more expensive. More details on the bike are likely to be revealed in coming days. Stay tuned to IndiaCarNews.
