2021 Royal Enfield Classic 350 Completely Revealed In New Images

Royal Enfield has lined-up a new range of motorcycles, which are slated to hit Indian roads in 2021. One of them is the new-generation RE Classic 350 that was recently caught on camera during its test rounds. The spotted prototype was completely uncamouflaged revealing production-ready design and features of the vehicle. The 2021 Royal Enfield Classic 350 retains the original retro design elements including the round headlamp, teardrop-shaped turn indicators, chrome rear view mirrors, broad rear fenders and chromed exhaust system.

Improved Design, More Features

The new-generation model has new body panels along with LED DRLs (daytime running lights). Though, it will continue to miss out on the LED headlamp. With a generation change, the Classic 350 is reported to receive alloy wheels and a wind deflector. Some of key design will include newly-designed taillamp, new grab rails, shorter rear fender, Bluetooth connectivity, and a semi-digital instrument console with an analogue speedometer and a digital display for other readouts.

New Colours

The bikemaker might also introduce new colour schemes to the model lineup. At present, the Classic 350 comes in a choice of 12 shades including Classic Black, Pure Black, Mercury Silver, Gunmetal Grey, Stromrider Sand, Airborne Blue, Chrome, Stealth Black, Chestnut, Ash, Orange Ember and Metallo Silver.

New Platform

The biggest changes will be made to its platform and engine setup. The 2021 Royal Enfield Classic 350 will be built on the new modular J platform that has already been used in the newly-launched RE Meteor 350. The same architecture will also be used in upcoming new Royal Enfield bikes. It will be lighter than the existing platform, thus improve power to weight ratio and ensure better handling.

More Power

Powering the new 2021 Royal Enfield Classic 350 will be a new 350cc, single-cylinder fuel injected engine with advanced SOHC configuration. The new motor is likely to be more refined and efficient than the existing one. Paired to a 5-speed manual gearbox, the new RE Classic 350’s engine will deliver power around 20.2bhp and 27Nm of torque.
