2021 Royal Enfield Classic 350 In Matte Black Finish – Spied

The new generation Royal Enfield Classic 350 has been spotted testing several times on the Indian roads. In fact, the motorcycle was snapped during its official TVC shoot in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan. If reports are to be believed, the new Classic 350 could be launched on August 31, 2021; however, RE is yet to make an official announcement on the same.

The latest set of spy images have revealed more details about the new R Classic 350. The new model seen in this video has matte black finish with contrasting Red strips. It is equipped with multi-spoke dual-tone alloy wheels, and looks different from the one offered in Signals Editions of the Classic 350.

The 2021 Royal Enfield Classic 350 retains the original retro-styled design of the outgoing model. It comes with modern retro-style design elements such as round halogen headlamp, teardrop-shaped fuel tank with rubber grips, tiger-eyed position lights, and split seats with an integrated single-piece grab rail on the pillion seat. The current Classic has spring under the rider’s saddle, which is missing in the spotted model.

The 2021 Royal Enfield Classic 350 features the retro-themed round taillamps along with round turn indicators. It features the circular rearview mirrors, which are finished in chrome. It is reported that the new model will be offered in 3 variants – a single-seater, a twin-seater Classic 350 and the 350 Signals Edition. The Signals edition will get alloy wheels, while the regular models will have spoked wheels.

The new gen RE Classic 350 is based on the brand’s new architecture, which underpins the Meteor 350. Called the “J” modular architecture, the new platform will be used to develop new breed of RE 350cc motorcycles. The twin downtube spine frame is claimed to have improved the overall ride quality and characteristics of the Meteor 350, which replaces the popular Thunderbird nameplate.

The 2021 Royal Enfield Classic 350 will feature 19-inch front and 18-inch rear wheel with spoked rims. The motorcycle will get new instrument console with a separate digital readout with fuel gauge. It is also likely to get Tripper Navigation System, which is offered in the Meteor 350. The motorcycle will be powered by a 349cc, fuel injected engine that is capable of producing a maximum power output of 20.2bhp at 6,100rpm and a peak torque of 27Nm at 4,000rpm. It will be paired to a 5-speed gearbox.
