For power, the new 2021 Royal Enfield Classic 350 will use the Meteor’s new 349cc, air/oil cooled OHC engine that produces 20.2bhp at 6100rpm and 27Nm of torque at 4000rpm. RE’s new 350 motor has a timing chain, balancer shaft and SOHC system that result in more efficient valve timings and less noise and vibrations. Compared to the old unit, the new one is more refined across the rev range. With the same powertrain, the RE Meteor 350 delivers a claimed mileage of 41.88kmpl. Transmission duties are taken care of by a 5-speed constant mesh gearbox.

RE Classic 350 Dual-tone Launch

The new-generation Royal Enfield Classic 350 sits on the twin downtube spin frame borrowed from the Meteor 350. Its suspension system will include telescopic forks and twin tube emulsion shock absorbers at the front and rear axles respectively. The new model is likely to be offered with front disc and rear drum brakes with single-channel ABS or front and rear disc brakes with dual-channel ABS.

Major changes will be made to its design as well. The new Royal Enfield Classic 350 will come with newly-designed alloy wheels, better cushioned seats, smaller handlebars and slightly shifted foot pegs. Styling elements such as round headlamp and rear view mirrors, a flatter fuel tank and an upswept chrome plated exhaust will be carried forward from the current generation. The new Classic 350 will come with the semi-digital instrument console and Tripper navigation system.
