One of the biggest updates will be made to its underpinning. The new-generation Celerio will be designed on the Heartect platform, which is already used in Maruti Suzuki’s new breed cars. The architecture has been built with Ultra and Advanced High Tensile Steels and it’s claimed to resist deformation and enhance collision safety. The hatch will also grow in size. It’s likely to have longer wheelbase and more spacious cabin than the current generation.

Inside, the new Celerio will feature a 7.0-inch SmartPlay Studio infotainment system supporting Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The dashboard, centre console and steering wheel look different from the current model. The steering unit might come with the mounted controls.
