2020 Tata Nexon Facelift Launched; Priced From Rs 6.95 Lakh
The 2020 Tata Nexon facelift has finally gone on sale in the Indian market. The updated model comes in a total of 8 variants – XE, XM, XZ, XZ+, XZ+ (O), XMA, XZA+ and XZA+ (O) – priced from Rs 6.95 lakh to Rs lakh. While the petrol models are available in the price range of Rs lakh – Rs lakh, the diesel variants cost from Rs lakh to Rs 8.45 lakh. All prices are ex-showroom. Major change comes in the form of BS6-compliant engines. The 2020 Tata Nexon facelift is available with BS6-ready 1.2L turbo Revotron petrol and 1.5L turbo Revtorq diesel engine options. The former delivers a maximum power of 110PS with 170Nm and the latter makes 110PS with 260Nm. In terms of features, the 2020 Tata Nexon facelift is the brand’s one of the first cars to feature iRA (Intelligent Realtime Assist) connected car features. The subcompact SUV also gets an electric sunroof, a larger touchscreen infotainment system and a semi-digital instrument cluster.
Exterior design has been revised slightly with a new grille (inspired by the Nexon EV), revised front bumper, new projector headlamps with LED DRLs and fog lamps with contrast inserts and new air dam with contrasting inserts at the front end. At the back, the 2020 Tata Nexon facelift gets updated taillamps and a revised bumper. The subcompact SUV comes in a choice of 6 colour schemes – Calgary White, Tectonic Blue, Foliage, Pure Silver, Flame Red and Daytona Grey.
