Honda Cars India has rolled out the updated Jazz hatchback with slightly improved styling and segment exclusive one touch electric sunroof along with an addition of a new top-end ZX trim. The 2020 Honda Jazz BS6 model lineup has been offered in three trims – V, VX and ZX – priced between Rs 7.49 lakh – Rs 9.73 lakh (all, ex-showroom Delhi). All variants are powered by a BS6-compliant 1.2L i-VTEC petrol engine that’s good enough for 90PS and 110Nm of torque. The refreshed Jazz can be had either with a 5-speed manual gearbox or a 7-speed CVT automatic transmission.

The manual variants of the new Honda Jazz are claimed to offer a mileage of 16.6kmpl. The automatic models, which are boosted with Honda’s advanced CVT technology from Earth Dreams Technology Series, promise 17.1kmpl. The carmaker says that the updated Jazz is the only car in its segment to feature the race inspired steering wheel mounted paddle shifters in automatic variants. The 2020 Honda Jazz comes equipped with the segment-first ‘One touch electric sunroof. The hatchback has new soft touchpad dashboard along with steering mounted controls, Digipad 2.0 infotainment system with 17.7cm touchscreen, navigation system and Android and Apple CarPlay connectivity, multi information combimeter with LCD display and ECO assist, auto AC with touchscreen control panel, ambient rings, cruise control, one push start/stop button with white and red illimiation and Honda smart key system with keyless remote.
The hatchback’s infotainment unit now supports Weblink and several advanced functionality such as Bluetooth Handsfree telephony and audio, voice command, wireless infrared remote, messages and more. The safety kit includes dual front SRS airbags, multi-view rear camera with guidelines, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensor, impact mitigating front head rests, driver side window one touch up/down operation with pinch guard, pedestrian injury mitigation technology and immobilizer anti-theft system. On the exterior, the new Honda Jazz gets a new chrome accentuated high gloss black grille and updated front and rear bumpers. The carmaker offers an advanced LED package that includes new LED headlamps with DRLs, new LED fog lamps and signature rear LED wing light.
