German luxury car manufacturer is planning to launch the new 2015 Audi TT in the Indian car market. However, the company has already announced the pricing of the new Audi TT for the German market. The base price of this sports car is 35,000 euros (Rs. 28.46 lakh). The vehicle will come with the new Audi virtual cockpit.
“This car offers customers exactly what they expect of a compact sports car,” says Prof. Dr. Ulrich Hackenberg, Board Member for Technical Development at AUDI AG: “The new generation combines authentic design with dynamic driving qualities and making art directly on the road – starting with the significantly improved once again power to weight ratio on the sporty and confident handling up to the quattro drive system that distributes the optimum moments in the TT on the front and rear axle.”
The 2015 Audi TT features the fully digital instrument cluster that replaces the analog instruments and the MMI monitor and offers a 12.3-inch display versatile graphics and highly detailed illustrations. Adding to it, this model has a Tegra chip 30 from the Tegra 3-series of the cooperation partner Nvidia works.
The new generation Audi TT is offered in three four-cylinder engines with turbochargers and direct injection. The base spec Audi TT gets 2.0-litre TFSI engine producing 230bhp, while the 2.0 TDI develops 184bhp. The Audi TTS is powered by the same 2.0 TFSI engine producing 310bhp, and it accelerates to 100kmph from standstill in just 4.7 seconds.
