Mahindra & Mahindra is gearing up to launch two new SUVs in the market, namely, Bolero Neo Plus and XUV400 EV. While official launch date of the former is yet to be announced, the latter has been confirmed to go on sale in January 2023. The Mahindra XUV400 EV will make its public debut at the Delhi Auto Expo next month. Here’re some key details and expected price range of the upcoming new Mahindra SUVs.

Mahindra Bolero Neo Plus
Reports suggest that the new Mahindra Bolero Neo Plus will come with the 2.2LmHawk diesel engine borrowed from the Thar off-road SUV. Though, the motor could be detuned. It can be had with either a manual or an automatic gearbox. The SUV will offer power and drive modes. The model lineup will be made available in two variants – P4 and P10 – along with an ambulance version featuring 4-seats and a patient bed. Buyers will have two seating configurations to choose from – 7 and 9-seats. Its overall length, width and height will stand at 4400mm, 1795mm and 1812mm respectively. Mahindra XUV400 EV
The new Mahindra XUV400 electric SUV is reported to be offered in three variants, namely, Base, EP and EL. It will have a 39.4kWh battery pack and an electric motor mounted at the front axle. The latter delivers a peak power of 150bhp and 310Nm of torque. The XUV400 will be the fastest vehicle in its category, accelerating 0 to 100kmph in 8.3 seconds. It will have an electronic speed limit of 150kmph. Mahindra says that its new electric SUV offers a certified range of 456km on a full charge.
