Mahindra & Mahindra is all set to launch two new SUVs in coming weeks including the new Scorpio-N and Bolero Neo Plus. Prices of the new 2022 Mahindra Scorpio-N will be announced on 27th June 2022, while launch date of the 9-seater Bolero Neo Plus is yet to revealed. Here’re key details of the upcoming new Mahindra SUVs.
2022 Mahindra Scorpio-N
The new Mahindra Scorpio-N appears more rugged and bigger than its predecessor. The SUV will come with the 2.0L mStallion petrol and 2.2L mHawk diesel engines making 197bhp and 172bhp respectively. Transmission choices will include a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed torque convertor automatic. Features such as high ground clearance (205mm), better approach & departure angles, Penta-link suspension with FSDs at the rear and the optional 4-mode 4X4 system will enhance its off-road capabilities. The new Scorpio-N will have several new features on offer including a 12-speaker Sony audio system with the latest smartphone connectivity, a 360 degree camera, dual zone automatic climate control, a sunroof, traction control, drowsiness detection, 6 airbags, etc. More details here…
2022 Mahindra Bolero Neo Plus
The Mahindra Bolero Neo Plus is expected to see a market release by August 2022. It’s essentially the longer version of the Bolero Neo with 7 and 9-seats configurations. Under the hood, the SUV will feature the same 2.2L diesel engine that does duty in its 5-seater version. The motor returns a maximum power of 120PS and 280Nm of torque. Transmission duties will be done by a 6-speed -manual gearbox. Similar to the 5-seater Bolero Neo Plus, its 9-seater model will feature a tweaked grille, updated front and rear bumpers, new headlamps with integrated LED DRLs and a new set of alloy wheels.
