After the A3 4.0 TFSI premium variant, Audi India has introduced the new petrol version of its popular luxury sedan – A6 35 TFSI – at Rs. 45.90 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi and Mumbai). The Audi A6 35 TFSI is the company’s seventh of the fifteen products to be launched in India in 2015.

Powering the Audi A6 35 TFSI is a 1.8-litre, four-cylinder, in-line turbocharged petrol engine with direct fuel injection technology and Audi valvelift system. This engine is capable to produce a maximum power of 190bhp between 4,000rpm – 6,000rpm and torque of 320Nm at 1,500rpm – 3,000rpm. Transmitting power to the front wheels is a 7-speed S tronic transmission. It has an auto engine start/ stop system with energy recovery that improves its fuel efficiency by 12.7%. The A6 35 TFSI is claimed to return a fuel economy of 15.26km/l. It takes 7.9 seconds to reach 100kmph from standstill, while maintaining a top speed of 233kmph.
On the exterior, the A6 35 TFSI features LED headlights, electrically foldable external mirrors with memory function, light and rain sensors, turn indicators at the rear and LED rear lights. Inside, the car receives wooden trims on central console, dashboard and door panels. It also gets Milano Leather and Fine Grain Ash Natural Brown Inlays with choice of two colors – Black and Nougat brown and beige.
The infotainment system includes Bluetooth enabled Audi music interface with Audi Parking Plus, Voice Dialogue System, and an optional Audi sound system with BOSE Surround Sound. The A6 35 TFSI comes equipped with best-in-class safety features such as Auto Release Function, 8 airbags (including rear side airbags), etc.
