Lamborghini has launched the new Huracan supercar in the Indian car market. It will come as a replacement for the Gallardo, and the company aims to replicate the success of its predecessor. The Lamborghini Huracan supercar is priced at Rs. 3.43 crore (ex-showroom, New Delhi).

The Lamborghini Huracan supercar is inspired from the Aventador, and is equipped with angular projector headlamps, massive air intakes on the bumper and several aggressive creases to improve aerodynamics of the car. Under the bonnet is the same 5.3-litre V10 engine that is capable of developing a top power output of 610bhp and 560Nm of top torque. This engine is mated to a seven-speed dual clutch gearbox which channeled the power to all four wheels. The supercar accelerates to 100kmph from zero in mere 3.2 seconds and reaches 200kmph mark in 9.9 seconds. The vehicle is capable of attaining a top speed of 325kmph and is equipped with start/stop function to improve CO2 emissions. The new model is based on a new lightweight platform, which will also underpin the new generation Audi R8.

Inside, the supercar looks identical to the Aventador, but the company has slightly tweaked the interiors to offer wider sized instrument cluster. The steering wheel of the supercar features an array of toggle switches and the paddles are positioned behind the wheel.
