New Honda Neo-Retro Bike Patent Leaked; Based On CB Hornet 160
The patents of Honda’s new neo-retro motorcycle have been leaked on the web. The new Honda neo-retro bike will share its platform and mechanism with the Honda CB Hornet 160R. Design and styling might also be inspired by the existing CB Hornet 160. Read: Honda Activa 6G – 6 Things To Know
While the specifications of the bike are still under the wraps, it’s expected to get Hornet like air-cooled motor.
The new Honda neo-retro bike underpins a single-downtube frame that look similar to the Hornet including the mounting points for the powertrain. While the CB Hornet 160 comes with the conventional telescopic fork suspension unit, the new Honda neo-retro motorcycle will get USD fork at the front axle along with the monoshock suspension without a link at the rear axle.
The bike has a short type seat without rear fender. For braking purpose, the new Honda neo-retro bike has disc brakes at both front and rear wheels. More details about the bike are likely to be revealed in near future. Stay tuned to IndiaCarNews.
